Carter Sio has been a faculty member in the Arts Department at George School in Newtown, PA since 1984 where he is the Director of Woodworking and Design. In fact, it was at George School where Carter was first introduced to woodworking as a student, before studying fine arts at Marlboro College.
His work has been shown in numerous national exhibitions including the Governors Art Awards in Philadelphia. Published articles by Carter (with images of his work) can be found in Fine Woodworking Magazine and Woodwork Magazine. With exceptional craftsmanship and creativity, Carter has been designing and building furniture for over 30 years.
